Media Buzz: Nexgrill Featured in News 12’s ‘The Real Deal’ TV Segment

Merlot Marketing thrives on bringing our clients’ brands into the spotlight. Our recent collaboration with the esteemed Good Housekeeping Institute and the New York-based News 12 Network fueled Nexgrill’s inclusion in the popular News 12 segment ‘The Real Deal.’  

After working closely with the Good Housekeeping Institute’s testing team, Nexgrill’s 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill was positioned as a standout for its superior features and economical value. We quickly coordinated a sample to be included in the segment ‘The Real Deal: How to Choose the Best Barbecue for your Money’, which was broadcasted across all seven News 12 channels in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut region. In the segment, Consumer Reporter Janice Lieberman and Good Housekeeping Kitchen Appliances and Innovation Lab Director Nicole Papantoniou lauded the grill as the “best value grill” with “high-end features” and delivering “outstanding performance.”  

Beyond the impactful television exposure at the beginning of summer grilling season, this coverage was also echoed online. Each News 12 channel’s website featured articles about the segment, resulting in over 1.7 million readers.
