The Original Facebook Media Kit


Advertising on Facebook can be tricky. There are big gains to be made if you approach it with the right strategy, but that can prove to be difficult, even for large businesses. Over the past six months, we saw General Motors dump their Facebook campaign only to jump right back on the Facebook bandwagon with a clearer strategy.

Let’s take a look back in time (ALL the way back to 2004!) at the original Facebook  media kit. The folks over at digiday.com were able to obtain a copy of the advertising kit from when Facebook was only available to College students, alumni and facility with just 70,000 total users. They sure have come a long way in just a few years. Enjoy.
